I love being on the food combining diet but it has made me lose weight and I actually would like to gain some. Has anybody been successful at gaining weight on this diet?
MY advice to gain weight is to through the consideration of ur health out of the window. Chow down on pies, ice cream, mcdonalds, pizza, cookies, mcdonalds, milkshakes, pasta, dairy and mcdonalds. Also 1 cup of canola oil per day!! WORKED FOR ME!!!!!

Try it…seriously…and enjoy the abundance of all the foods life has to offer…never feeling like you are on a "diet" again! Eat, feel great & lose weight…it’s true!
If you follow the "rules" of food combining strictly… which can be difficult at first, but soon become a "way of life" you can lose weight naturally… feel full of energy (not starving & hungry or over stuffed & lethargic) feel great all day, eat well with lots of variety & never feel like you are "dieting" the "old fashioned "boring" way…because you can eat all/any foods (just separately at different times) sleep well and wake up feeling great and lose weight!
Day by day naturally you will see and feel the difference. Someone once told me that food combining was the real natural way we were meant to eat, that is…our digestive systems were set up to eat this way…i believe it to be true.
After seven years of food combining almost religiously (of course… some days i do not follow the "laws" of food combining and then i will feel worse & health problems/aching joints/dry cracked lips/constipation etc. will appear and i will gain some weight) and then i happily return to food combining where i have lost weight and stabalized my weight at my true natural weight for all these years and have cured myself of many ailments:
1) no more insomnia
2) no more sharp pains in my abdomen
3) no more dry & cracked lips (in fact, now my lips are always healthy and smooth whereas the moment i do not follow the "laws" of food combining…my lips will become dry & peeling/cracking)
4) no constipation (no one likes to talk about it… but…did you know that a healthy body has a bowel movement twice a day ! Correct food combining will regulate the body to have at least one bowel movement a day…usually after the morning fruit which cleanses the bowels & the body
before i began food combining…i sometimes waited 4 days before taking a "*&!#*)
You may not have health problems… but if you have any…you will notice very soon that they will dissolve when you eat the proper food combining way. You will feel and notice the difference and that is the great fun of food combining and using your own body as an experiment…see & notice & enjoy the changes as you get into this "way of life".
I met a man who does food combining during the week days and on the weekends he lets himself eat whatever…but he says he is always happy to go back to the food combining because he feels so much better! You will notice & feel the differnece too!
The first thing you will notice, when food combining properly is… after you eat lunch… you will feel good and fulfilled and you will not feel hungry after just an hour or so (that is because your body can now absorb the nutrients not the toxins that are created when mixing the food groups)…and that feels great! This is the first thing you will notice when you go back to your "old" regular non food combining way of eating too…just a few hours after you eat non food combining way you will feel hungry and go to find food to fill in your self. But this will not give you nutrients…just fill yourself with more wrongly combined toxins. And you will gain weight & not feel good.
Well…to make a long story short…give yourself the greatest gift…eat everything the world has to offer…at a certain time and at a certain place…according to the food combining "laws" (*) and you will be happy, healthy and become exactly the perfect weight that you are meant naturally to be.
* say for example you go to a banquet/party/buffett table…
i will look over the food to see what is proteins (cheese, chicken wings, sausage etc…) then i will look to see what is being offered as starches (breads, chips, cakes, etc…) then i will think to myself; "what would i rather feel like eating tonight? the cheeses & meats or the breads & chips.
Then i will make a decisions based on what seems best at the time for my taste buds. I never feel like i am missing out by not being able to eat the "other" foods in the catagory i have not chosen…since i know that perhaps at the next party i will choose the other catagory. Food combining is great because , i know i am always able to enjoy every kind of food at some time or another…never missing out on anything!
Then, after i have chosen the catagory for the night, i eat without guilt or worry and i feel happy and proud that i could make such a clear healthy decision that will make me feel good and will let me lose weight as i indulge in all the delicious foods in that catagory i have chosen. i eat away…as much as i like…yum!
Try food combining…you’ll like it!

HCG Diet – combine with Raw Foods Diet instead of Protocol?
I’m starting the Liver Enhancement Diet recommended in http://www.amazon.com/Principles-Fat-Burning-Healthy-Weight/dp/1888045558 for 2 weeks, moving in to a Raw Foods based diet. I’m wondering if I can use HCG drops to enhance my weight loss if I keep calories to 500-600 a day and eat sufficient protein?
did you already read the reviews about HCG?
friends i know that went on HCG diet just lost muscle weight and became heavier AFTER the diet. some raw food sounds great….asparagus is good for liver…good u are into health.
