I want to completely cleanse my system. I want to restore equilibrium within my body. I wouldn’t want to be on this diet for too long, because I am taking a chemistry class and do not want to be unable to think because of such extreme hunger, but I’m planning on doing this after the class ends. How does a water diet work, and how many days is efficient to get the results I seek? Note, this isn’t about weight loss. This is about gaining back physical and mental power that I once had.

What is going to happen to you is that you will lose weight, but it will not be fat. It will be water weight (which you will gain back the second you drink) and muscle (not good!). So after your diet, you will be just as fat as before except you will be weak and withered.

To lose fat:
1. DONâT BELIEVE THOSE FAD DIETS! DIET PILLS ARE GIMMICKS!
2. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF! Unless you are 4ft tall, a 1,200 calorie a day diet is DANGEROUS and won’t work in the long run.
3. Calculate your BMR. Do a google search. A good calculator would ask for your age, height, weight, and activity level.
4. Eat healthy and eat about 500 calories a day less than your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). Your BMR is how many calories you need per day to maintain your current weight.
5. Eat 5-6 small meals a day. This keeps your metabolism up. Each meal should include fruits, veggies, water, and protein.
5. Drink at least 64oz (8 8oz glasses) of water a day. No soda (that includes diet soda).
6. Do light/moderate cardio 3 to 5 times a week for 30 to 45 minutes each time. Running, bicycling, and swimming are great for this.
7. Do some strength training to make sure you lose fat and not muscle. Don’t worry; you won’t look like the hulk if you lift weights.
8. You should lose about 1-2lbs per week. If you lose more than that, chances are the rest is stool, water weight, or even muscle mass.
9. Weigh yourself only once a week at the same time (ie every Friday morning). Your weight fluctuates a lot during any 24hour period because of water and food intake and also bowel movements.
Be patient and be smart. If you follow this guideline you will be very happy with your results.

Yeah its healthy… 1500 hundred is good… This is what I eat… In the morning maybe some oatmeal.. Go jump. Start that metabolism… 2-3 hours later maybe a sanwhich with a fruit… And before i work out I drink some protien and post work out 2 scoops of protien.. And before I sleep half a scoop of protien.. For dinner.. Eat broccoli… Or some spinach.. U like chicken breast? Grill it up! No oils or butter.. Pam is good to use as a supplement for cooking.. Its ok to eat some steak.. But one thing.. Don’t make a sanwhich part of your everyday meal because of carbs.. But maybe once every other day.. The biggest thing you have going for youself is the cardio and weight lifting.. When u hit 200lbs… Do a lot more ab work out.. Cut the belly fat down… And more cardio! I know its hard but try two gallons of water a day..Oh yeah.. Pls! I beg you.. I usually work 2-10pm. I get up about 10:00 am & eat abowl of one of the Special K cereals, pack a lunch of thinly sliced deli turkey on low cal & low fat bread with light miracle whip & spicy mustard. I eat that on my first 30 min break. Later on my second 30 min break I eat an Activia Yogurt or banana or grapes, then after getting off I eat a lean cuisine or canned veggie soup for dinner if I am hungry, if not just a salad with light vinegrette dressing or more fruit. Depends on how physical my day is-my job can be rather active and demanding in a physical way. I lost almost 9 lbs the first week, now it is slower, but I am more physical at work lately so may be gaining muscle instead.
If nothing else I am eating healthy and time will prevail if I stick with it. I also take one day a week to have some sort of treat-last week I ate out for chinese. That was all I ate that day, then next day back to the plan.
I also carry flavored bottled water in my lunch. Totally gave up soft drinks.

the key to losing weight is burning more calories than you take in. most people don’t lose weight from dieting alone, especially women. you have to throw exercise into the mix. so by you saying you’re only eating 1500 calories a day, it doesn’t really mean anything.. i usually eat about 800 calories worth of food a day, and i lost about 8 pounds at first when i started that, but then i hit a plateau.. and nothing more would come off without exercising! and yes! water is VERY important. 64 ounces sounds like a lot, but it’s really not.. just drink as much as you can stand to start with and work your way up. it helps cleanse the body of impurities. oh, and no calories is also a plus lol (: luck with your diet. they’re hard, but very rewarding! <3

Is It Wrong To Tell Your Fiance That Weight Control And Kids Are Important To You?

I am in love with my girlfriend but we are about to discuss everything that need to be asked before marriage. Weight control is important to me. I don’t want my wife to look too fat after a couple of years. I would also not be able to live with her if she happens to not produce babies. I would feel unfulfilled if we are unable to have children. Do you think my fiancé/girlfriend would think I do not truly love her if I discuss these questions with her.

Of course it’s possible that she may not react very well to what you have to say (to be fair, many women wouldn’t as it comes across as very controlling). Still, it’s good to be honest to your partner about what you want, especially if you know that you’ll feel unfulfilled if you don’t get it. Best to really think through how you’re going to speak to her about these sensitive subjects before you do.

You don’t want her to look ‘too fat’ but you expect her to ‘produce babies’ – you clearly can’t have a pregnancy without gaining weight and she may find it difficult to lose baby weight. Have you thought about what will you do if this happens? It’s never nice when the man adds pressure on a woman to lose baby weight and she may want to know what will happen if she doesn’t. Also, what is ‘too’ fat…are you going to tell her what her weight parameters are (she can’t weigh more than x amount)?

No woman really knows if she can have children until she’s pregnant (and has a ‘successful’ pregnancy). She can’t give you any guarantees so are you saying that you’re willing to marry her in the hope that she can? For some women this would be an added pressure to prove that they can get pregnant and may cause unnecessary stress (which is never good for a pregnancy).

I’ve never heard of the Lemonade Diet but it sounds like it could be a gimic or fad, although, it is good to add some fresh lemon juice in your water.

If you are wanting an initial cleanse upon your conversion to vegetarianism, I would recommend a juice fast. If you can get a juicer & make your own, even better.

I work grounds on campus at my school for about 9 hours a day. After work I do track & field training and then I lift weights. How safe is doing these activities while on the master cleanser? Should I cut back on my activities?

not safe, as there is no protein or enough calories to sustain that type of activity, that diet is to be done while not doing intensive exercise
